Simple Pad Template (Decent Sampler)

Turn any recording into a playable pad instrument — in seconds.

This free template gives you a ready-made Decent Sampler preset with a clean, minimal UI and essential controls: Volume, Low Pass Filter, High Pass Filter, and full ADSR envelope. Just drop in your own sample, set the root note, and you've got a fully playable pad.

How to use it:

1. Download and unzip
2. Place your sample in the Samples folder (ideally 2 measures at 120 BPM)
3. Open the .dspreset in a text editor and set your sample's root note
4. Load it in Decent Sampler ... done!

Perfect if you want to prototype pad sounds from your own recordings without building a preset from scratch. Works with any single-sample source. Field recordings, synths, acoustic instruments, whatever you've got lying around.
